Package: apt-howto
Version: 2.0.2-2
Severity: important
$ ls apt-howto-2.0.2/bin/
debiandoc2latexdvi debiandoc2latexps fixhtml fixtxt getlocale new
debiandoc2latexpdf doc-check fixlatex getdocdate makeindexhtml
At least some of these are from debiandoc-sgml, on which the package
Build-Depends. Shipping these commands in the source package has the
only effect that bug fixes and other changes made in debiandoc-sgml will
not reach apt-howto.

The apt-howto package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/493787 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
