Package: grep
Version: 2.5.3~dfsg-2
Severity: normal

The --enable-perl-regexp configure option, added to the deb as of
2.5.1ds2-3 is no longer in effect with current versions, at least
including 2.5.3~dsfg-2.

Version 2.5.1.ds2-3 closed bugs #203109 and #238237, but the bug is
back.
