Package: nano
Version: 2.0.7-1
Severity: wishlist
nano's descriptions only describe nano by reference to pico. This is poor for
most people, who don't know what pico is. The short description should let
people that don't know pico see that nano is a text editor.
Wikipedia's nano article may hint at how to describe nano without relying on
people knowing pico.
Perhaps "curses-based text editor, inspired by Pico" for the short
description.

nano (2.0.8-1) experimental; urgency=low
.
* The "Il quarto ponte sul Canal Grande" release.
* New upstream release.
* Remove patches, all have been accepted upstream.
* Move nano to SVN in collab-maint, and add the corresponding Vcs-*
headers.
* Improve short descriptions by actually mentioning nano is an editor.
Thanks to Filipus Klutiero for the suggestion (closes: #495289).
* Add nanorc.sample as an example, even if the system-wide nanorc is a
modified copy of it (closes: #490202).
