Package: xmlto
Version: 0.0.20-2
Severity: important

Any attempt to use --stringparam with xmlto results in the following
four lines:

warning: failed to load external entity "XSLTPARAMS"
cannot parse XSLTPARAMS
Variable $SGML_CATALOG_FILES not set
warning: failed to load external entity "XSLTPARAMS"
cannot parse XSLTPARAMS

Specifically, the line I wanted to execute was:

xmlto --skip-validation --stringparam generate.toc=0 xhtml-nochunks
paragraphs.dbk

The following commands work as expected, so it isn't my document:

xmlto --skip-validation xhtml-nochunks paragraphs.dbk

xsltproc -o paragraphs.html --stringparam generate.toc 0
/usr/share/xml/docbook/stylesheet/nwalsh/xhtml/docbook.xsl paragraphs.dbk

The document validates fine against its RELAX NG schema.
