Package: autogen
Version: 1:5.9.1-1
Severity: important
Many months before the etch package list was frozen, a fix went
into autogen for parsing complex values in config files.
(Actually, in the "libopts" library code.) However, it turned
out that the last autogen version promoted into "testing" was
promoted just a little while before the autogen fix. The
consequence is that the recently released Debian-etch has
an autogen from over two years ago. Certain folks here where
I work would rather not be using my private sources, even
though they are published. So, would you please be willing
to put an autogen refresh into your etch-backports tree?
Thank you very much!
Regards, Bruce Korb (autogen author)
P.S.: my preference would be to see 5.9.5....
