When I configure my laptop (built-in screen resolution 1280x768) to
display on a projector with the following commands
$ xrandr --output VGA-0 --mode 1280x1024 --output LVDS --off
and then start a presentation with
$ xpdf -fullscreen slides.pdf
xpdf assumes that the full screensize is 1280x768, and doesn't cover
the new full screen size of 1280x1024.
My video driver is:

and I have an ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M video card.
