Package: mozilla-firefox
Version: 1.0.4-2sarge9
Severity: important

The GUI for mozilla-firefox goes AWOL during a very reproducable
sequence of events.

Start firefox
press ctrl-f to search
press esc to close the search
press ctrl-f to search again

At this point, enter some text. This is when you know you've triggered the
bug, as the text will not display in the find entry pane. Now, move the
mouse cursor over any part of the GUI aside from the page frame (i.e. status
bar, menubar). It will disappear entirely. This happens on a newly created
profile and does not affect currently running profiles.

Tested with xinerama (three displays, 4800x1024 aggregate) and without (one
display, 1600x1024).
