Package: hylafax-server
Version: 2:4.3.1-7
Severity: normal

Hi,

I sent 2 PDF via sendfax:

  sendfax -D -f 'Name <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>' -d XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX fax1.pdf fax2.pdf

but did not received notifications as expected (nofifications for 1 document
working after applying my
patch BTS #487699)

Trying to manually send notification as "uucp" user:

I cannot understand WHY the "Argument list too long" :-S

As I can see the notifications scripts was completely rewritten in 4.4.4-7
*but* this bug affects Etch
and there is no patch for Etch.

Maybe etch-backporting 4.4.4-7 should be one solution since many users (like
me) prefer not to switch
to testing in production. I tryed to compile from source 4.4.4-7 but there is 1
build-depend issue doe
to dpkg version :-S

Thanks.
Giovanni.
