It seems to be using -DBGL_NO_PIC, which seems to be
exactly the opposite of what you want for a shared lib?
Please see section 10.2 of the policy. Shared libraries
must be build using -fPIC, and static libraries without.
Note that it doesn't stop at this error and just continues
like there wasn't an error. Then it fails much later
trying to link to that file. May I suggest you make it
stop building on the first error.
