Hi,
I am running two IRC servers, one on FreeBSD and another one on a Debian
Linux box (sarge). In order to connect to my irc servers a client needs
to provide a password (due to security reasons). The corresponding line
in the config file of my irc servers is:
I:192.168.0.0/24:password:*:0:1
So "password" is the password in order to be able to get a connection
(and you need to come from a certain ip address range).
ayttm fails here when trying to get online displaying a
popup window saying only "Connection closed by blabla" and an OK
button. When I delete the password entry so that the line looks like this:
I:192.168.0.0/24::*:0:1
...then ayttm is able to connect to the servers. Other irc clients like
gaim or bitchx for example work fine with the password settings above.
And I think I tried all kind of settings in the irc dialog of aytmm
I can think of ;-) I fired google of course but couldn't find neither
an example nor another bug report.
Kind regards, Joerg.
PS: Let me know if you need further details...
