Package: zope
Version: 2.4.2-0.2
Severity: wishlist
Hello,
the recent change in the default Python and the requirement to update
Zope raised an idea in me: It would make the work of maintainers of
Zope products a lot easier if there would be a template for a
control file which has valid

etc lines and templates for postinst/prerm for those packages.
To fix that I see several solutions:
1. Providing such examples directly under
/usr/share/doc/zope/examples/development
(possibly not so good)
2. Building an extra Package
zope-dev/zope-doc/zope-devdoc or something else
providing such information.
(perhaps a good solution)
3. Including such stuff in the zope-book (I would care about such
add on information, but I?m dependent from others to make good
suggestions, because I?m fairly new in packaging Zope stuff).
4. Mailing list debian-zope with FAQ according to those issues
5. Using debian-python for such stuff which has not to much traffic
that people who are not interested in Zope would be bothered to
much.
6. anything else
Kind regards
Andreas.

Hello,
I'm closing this bug report because it refers to the old zope (2.6) package
and the current zope in testing/unstable (2.10) doesn't show this problem.
