Package: jabber-yahoo
Version: 2.3.2-1
Severity: minor
For now, the jabber-yahoo gateway output all the log in jabber/error.log
20050413T05:13:14: [notice] (yahoo-server.c:215): [YAHOO] Available:
status=0, show=0 for '[EMAIL PROTECTED]/Psi'

20050413T05:53:18: [notice] (yahoo-server.c:215): [YAHOO] Available:

20050413T05:54:04: [notice] (yahoo-session.c:142): Zapped Yahoo! session
for '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
20050413T05:54:04: [notice] (yahoo-session.c:164): Ending Yahoo! session
(yd) for '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
20050413T05:54:04: [notice] (yahoo-session.c:164): Ending Yahoo! session
(yd) for '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
This is annoying for server admin who check the log because important
errors are lost in the whole thing.
Also, as the "error.log" name suggest, it must only contains errors.
I suggest disabling this log or output it in another file or make an
option available to disable it.
(The easier to do will be perfect)
Thank you for your work :-)

experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/477205 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
