I have installed "clamav-freshclam" but I can not connect to the
database "db.fr.clamav.net" and this has nothing to do with my Internet
connection, since I can send/receive E-Mails and connect over mozilla or

If I am connecting over mozilla manualy to <http://db.fr.clamav.net/> it
works immediately and after 15 seconds I am redirected to
<http://www.clamav.net/>.

That sounds like network issues - possibly problem three.

And this and your later mail say that you have managed to download the
files just fine. freshclam doesn't do anything clever here - it just
does http and relies on the OS to do the necessary work to transport the
packets over GSM/carrier pigeon/wet goat/whatever. If those lower
levels are not acting normally, http will not work reliably.
Additionally, as I've said, the maintainer scripts for the various
clamav packages do quite a lot of setup work. Having a broken dpkg
setup could well mean that the maintainer scripts for clamav are not
being run, resulting in a broken install.
what I am going to do is close the report, since you've now posted two
seperate successful downloads, proving that freshclam can in fact
downlod it's database files. If you reproduce the problem and isolate a
test case, please feel free to open a new report or reopen this one.
