Hello,
it would be nice, if lyx-qt would acquire the window focus for
new windows like Find (Ctrl-f), but also windows like Layout->
Document.
This helps people (like me :)) with keyboardFocusPolicy: pointer
to type in the window they have just actually requested even
if the mouse pointer is somewhere else.
Mozilla does that for example with it's Find window (Ctrl-f).
lyx-xforms seems to achieve this by placing new windows somewhere
'under' the mouse pointer (somewhere 'around' the current mouse
pointer position) so that they get focused automatically.
Unfortunately, lyx-qt seems to place windows just 'somewhere' -
completely independent of the current mouse pointer position.
Thus, it would help to just request the window focus for fresh
openend windows.
This is most likely something to forward upstream.
