Package: libxml-commons-resolver1.1-java
Version: 1.2-2.1
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

There is a problem with usage of original resolver.jar in NetBeans IDE.
We have to patch CatalogResolver.java, CatalogManager.java and Catalog.java files to cater to NetBeans needs.

Torsten Werner kindly added patch for Catalog.java file into
libxml-commons-resolver1.1-java package. Thanks him a lot!
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=495104

But patches for CatalogResolver.java, CatalogManager.java files couldn't be added due to incompatibility.
Now we've created forked NbCatalogResolver.java and NbCatalogManager.java files.
So it is possible to keep original CatalogManager and CatalogResolver unchanged => no incompatibility problem.

Is it possible to add our patch with forked classes into
libxml-commons-resolver1.1-java, please?
Unfortunately I can't include these files into netbeans package due to license
(netbeans is under CDDL + GPL license).
Patch (nb-new-files.patch) for adding Nb*.java files is attached.
It can be applied via CDBS simple patch system. For that It should be stored in debian/patches folder and string "include /usr/share/cdbs/rules/simple-patchsys.mk" should be added into debian/rules file.

For your information I've also attached diff files to see the difference between original CatalogManager/Resolver classes and forked ones.

Thanks in advance.
