Package: gpsman
Version: 6.3.2-1
Severity: normal

Hello, my GPSMan cannot establish connection with GARMIN GPSMAP 60CS.

If I type in a console
$ gpsman is available
and then
$ echo $?
I get 0
But if I type
$ gpsman is connected
and then
echo $?
I get 1

I tried also
$ gpsman -prot -dev usb=/dev/bus/usb/004/003 is connected
and I get
Cannot open serial port /dev/bus/usb/004/003

(Here is my lsusb:
Bus 004 Device 003: ID 091e:0003 Garmin International GPSmap (various models)
)

If I try
$ gpsman -prot GARMIN_USB -dev usb=/dev/bus/usb/004/003 is connected
or
$ gpsman -prot PROTOCOL=GARMIN_USB -dev usb=/dev/bus/usb/004/003 is connected
I get
Bad receiver protocol GARMIN_USB
Bad receiver protocol PROTOCOL=GARMIN_USB

I tried also to check connection with my 60CS in the graphical mode - nothing
but "1 packet".

I tried to set different data modes on my 60CS (NMEA In/NMEA Out, GARMIN DGPS,
Text Out etc.)

Then, I have read on the page
www.ncc.up.pt/gpsman/gpsmanhtml/manual/html/GPSMandoc_63.html that only GPSMan
6.3.2 supports GPSMAP 60CS,
uninstalled my native stable version 6.3.1, downloaded from
http://mirrors.kernel.org/debian/pool/main/g/gpsman/gpsman_6.3.2-1_all.deb and
installed (from local repository)
version 6.3.2 - and I have the same problem.

Please help...
