Package: emacs21
Version: 21.3+1-4
Severity: minor
Emacs sometimes freezes for several seconds when starting it and both
the mode line and echo area are missing until I resize the window.
This seems to happen randomly and I couldn't find a reason for this
problem.

Note that #220986 seems to be present in emacs22 as well, since you
reported it again as #470653, although I could not reproduce it.

Doing this now, 338 bugs left in emacs21...
