I would like for my router to be wins-server for my lan, but I don't
want to run any file sharing on it. So I am looking for a way to
start nmbd without starting smbd. Unless I am mistaken, there is no
way to do that without hacking the init.d file.
I guess it could be an option in /etc/default/samba.

All these bugs are requests for very specific needs, which are quite
unlikely to be requested over and over and then motivate keeping them
opened and "wontfix". Hence, closing them.
