Severity: normal

Choosing 'Save As' on an image that is actually a symlink
copies the link instead of the target file.

Because links in /usr/share/icons etc. are usually relative,
the saved link is broken, because it points to a relative path.

eog should detect links and get the target of link files and save that.

Thanks!

This seems to be fixed in version 2.24, currently in experimental.
