In Ubuntu, we've applied the attached patch to achieve the following:
* debian/scribus.desktop:
- Add "Categories" field to make it appear properly in menu (LP: #261615)
- Replace Comment[XX] fields with GenericName[XX] and Name[XX] fields
- Modify to validate with desktop-file-validate
We thought you might be interested in doing the same.
