Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.5.4-1
Severity: important
After a seemingly innocent upgrade of some packages, aptitude suddenly
segfaults on me when I try to start it.
Strangely enough the segfault only happens when I run 'sudo aptitude',
not when I run aptitude as a normal user.
strace attached; this is the gdb backtrace I get:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

#2 0x405e3f68 in pthread_start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
Backtrace stopped: frame did not save the PC
Attached a list of the packages that were upgraded just before.
The upgrade was done using aptitude, so it was OK before that.
Note that I did (have to?) break off aptitude during that upgrade
and remove the aptitude and dpkg lock files. But apt-get works fine,
so I somewhat doubt it is databases that are corrupted.
