Hi,
The vsftpd FTP server refuses (silently) the login if the username has
more than 32 chars.
The limit is defined in defs.h.
Maybe we could consider raising this limit a bit, and at least return a proper
error in the logs (pam accepts the login, but vsftpd just says "LOGIN
FAILED").

Hi,
on linux, you cannot have longer login names than 32 chars anyway due to
libc6. Therefore, it doesn't make any sense to me to have longer names
in vsftpd.
