Package: iproute2
Version: 2-2.6.18-061002

Default email address for /sbin/program is [email protected]

I'm certain that most Debian network information should not be emailed
to this person.
Whether this is Malware or just lazy development, this default should
not be installed to
root; alternatively the default can be removed with the following fix:

Line 5: [ -z "$mail" ] && [email protected]

Line 5: if [ -z "$mail"]; then
             echo "I was going to send all of your network information.";
             echo "to [email protected] ... but just to qualify this,";
             echo "all of your current connections, memory maps, and
other network data";

Hello mike.

I take it from your non-answer that Colin Watsons reply was satisfactory.
I'm thus closing this bugreport. Please use the reportbug helper program
for future bugreports, to make sure the information provided ends up
correctly.
