Package: mew
Version: 1:5.2-4
Severity: important
When I tried to read mail today, I got this from mew:
Connecting to the IMAP server...done
Communicating with the IMAP server...
Retrieving 27 messages in background...
error in process filter: utf-7-decode: Invalid base64 data
error in process filter: Invalid base64 data
And I can't get any mail from the IMAP-server. The imap-server is
uw-imapd version 2002edebian1-13.1 .
I can't get the message causing this problem through the SPAM-filters
at ch-smtp02.sth.basefarm.net . The bug report is correctly classified
as SPAM if it is included as plain text, and if a attach it a a gziped
file, I get this "0.2 MIME_BASE64_NO_NAME RAW: base64 attachment
does not have a file name". But mew HAS included a file-name!!!
I can mail the message directly to you.
After removing the message from the INBOX folder on the IMAP-server
using balsa, mew works again.
/ Anders
