Hi,
please read /usr/share/doc/network-manager/README.Debian about the
managed/unmanaged modes.
In short:
Either remove/comment auch the configuration in /etc/network/interfaces
or set managed=true in /etc/NetworkManager/nm-system-settings.conf
You have to restart (i.e. killall nm-system-settings) after changing this
configuration.
Closing as not a bug.
