Package: emdebian-tools
Version: 1.4.1
Severity: normal
Hi,
I am not sure if i understood the email "Native builds
and other uses of emdebian-tools" sent to the emdebian list.
Anyway i am reporting here the buggy patch.
The docs is not been removed from the debianutils-2.3
debian's package. And the copyright file is not been
compressed.
Lines 83, and 107 of debian/rules. On line 83 i believe
the ifeq/else/endif must be reverted. The error on line 107
was difficult to see. "ifeq"
Regards,

The Code Audit and the re-modelled build mechanism (using emgrip) can
provide a way to fix these issues.
http://wiki.debian.org/EmdebianCodeAudit
Whatever changes are needed or made via local edits or using Emdebian
patches from SVN, the built package can be prepared for Crush using:
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="usecrush" emgrip /$path/$package_$version_$arch.deb
em_autogrip can also be used with an appropriate output directory to
put the packages into a repository using reprepro.
In time, the patches themselves will be updated so that files from
emdebian-tools are not required for builds.
