Please see the following reasons for the removal request:
* Package is out of date with regards to upstream.
* Upstream development is now on guile-gtk-2.
* Package depends on GTK 1.2 which is to be removed.
* The only r(b)depends was gwave which has been updated.
The maintainer acknowledges that this package is no longer required. He
was only maintaining it for Gwave, which he has recently uploaded a new
version to unstable. Once that hits everywhere, it is OK to remove
guile-gtk-1.2.
