Debian version: 4.0r0 stable

This problem happened in Ubuntu. Now the same problem appeared in
Debian Etch. Please follow the steps below to reproduce the crash:

1) start gedit
2) put mouse in the middle of the gedit new document screen
3) do not move the mouse when you click the buttons
4) push left mouse button and hold
5) push right mouse button and release
6) release left mouse button
7) click left mouse button again
