Package: bugzilla
Version: 2.18-6
The directory layout of the new 2.18 bugzilla pacvkage does not conform
to standards provided by the FHS (and perhaps the Debian policies?).
There is variable data, such as data mining produced by cronjobs for
example, that is being stored within the /usr/share/bugzilla/ directory
tree.
Variable data should not be stored under the /usr/ directory tree at all.
The previous 2.16.7 bugzilla Debian package used to store this sort of
data under the /var/lib/bugzilla/ directory tree which seems to make
more sense.
The 'old charts' reporting section of bugzilla is also broken, and I'm
pretty sure it is partially related to the directory policies not being
adhered to.
