Subject: kmail hangs displaying pgp-signed mails
Date: Wed, 9 May 2001 17:00:34 +0200
X-Mailer: KMail [version 1.2]
MIME-Version: 1.0
Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
package: kmail
version: 2.1.1-6
package: gnupg
version: 1.0.5-2
When opening or selecting a message with a pgp/gpg signature, kmail hangs and
is not usable any more. I have to kill it with killall kmail or similiar
means. Even selecting the message in the message list with the right
mosebutton makes kmail hanging.
This behaviour has been occurred since the upgrade of gnupg to version 1.0.5.
It seems there is something wrong with the gpg-interface in kmail, as gpg
gets started (to check the signature) but does never finish itself.
I use debian-unstable with kernel 2.4.3 and most current kde 2.1.1/2.1.2 and
up-to-date libs etc.

The problem is not with gnupg, and with kmail it has been resolved; I'm
closing this bug.
