Severity: normal
The latest version of git-core no longer contains the 'vc-git.el' file,
because this functionality has been merged into Emacs. However,
git-core.emacsen-startup still contains autoload statements which
reference this file.
As a consequence, Emacs 21 (which doesn't have the vc-git code) issues
an error ("Cannot open load file: vc-git") whenever a file is opened,
and doesn't switch to the newly opened buffer. This is quite annoying.
