Package: libgtk1.2
Version 1.2.10-9

If the X11 server does not support the XInput extension, every program
using the gtk-toolkit seems to fail with

Xlib: extension "XInputExtension" missing on display "display:0.0".

This makes it impossible to use a gtk program with xmove, and probably
with other (non XF86) X11 servers, too.

I can imaging there are good reasons for using XInput when it is
present, but not working without seems like a bug to me. It is
probably not very important since most modern servers provide it.

Yours,
                    Thomas <[email protected]>

The gtk+1.2 package has been removed from Debian so we are closing
the bugs that were still opened against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/520441 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.

Kind regards,
