Nautilus will not automount removable drives. It has to be done manually.
I can't either find where is the option for automounting. In Lenny I remember
it was under gnome menu>preferences>volumes and removable media

Please don’t report bugs against testing unless they concern broken
package relationships.
This bug was already fixed in unstable weeks ago.
