I send emails to [email protected], respectively Thuresday 31/10 and Saturday 02/11 to know what was going on... no answer. (My understanding of the pb, confirm by an ezmlm warning from bugtraq, is that you guys got a high bouncing rate (ISP pb) from this address and just drop it from the list).

Could you guys implement the following things to lower the local frustration/ranting :

- a descent page explainig how to use smartlist (commands etc...) I didn't got anything usefull using http://www.google.com/search?q=smartlist%20site:debian.org

- a page listing de ISPs, IP, domain etc... which are blacklisted from debian lists

- a page listing the email address droped from the lists and the reason.
The information on this page could be cycle out on an aging policy.

- If you do not read [email protected] (to much work, to much craps , whatever reason), could you drop the references to it on the website and on the email footers. The BTS way is fine enough for me.

Regards,
        Fab

Hello,

This is a rather old bug, so i'm closing it now.

In the meantime we established a system that notifies users if their
address starts to bounce, and if an address has been dropped of the
list because of excessive bouncing, we try to inform the user
afterwards about it.

Those mails also include a link about the bounce that caused the
notification.

Yours,
Cord, Debian Listmaster of the day
