Package: gnupg
Version: 1.2.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

[ script snippets doing the commenting of the lines, see the
--no-keyring-at-all bug and set $keyring appropriately]
keyids=`links -dump http://www.elug.de/schluessel/index.html | grep pub
| grep -v 248AEB73 | awk '{ print $2 }' | cut -d"/" -f2 | xargs`
$GPG $keyring --recv-keys $keyids

I do this to actualize my elug-keyring.gpg from the uids listed
on this page.

OK, on my first revisions of this script is wrote 248aeb73 instead of
248AEB73 which didn't sort my own key out. I don't need it in there
since it is in pubring.gpg anyways :-)

OK, I thought let's simply delete it:

(doing the commenting)
r...@frodo:~$ LANG="C" gpg --no-default-keyring --keyring elug-keyring.gpg
--delete-key 248aeb73
gpg: there is a secret key for public key "248aeb73"!
gpg: use option "--delete-secret-keys" to delete it first.

That's shit.

I regenerated the file from scratch in the meantime...

I agree to Thijs comment. The manual page is clear about this. You have
to specify an alternative secret keyring or gnupg will fall back to the
default one.

Closing as this is not a bug. Merging together with #200183.

Regards, Daniel
