Package: dhcdbd
Version: 2.0-2
Severity: minor
Hi,
When my dhcp lease is renewed, my /var/log/syslog is flooded with the following
messages:
dhclient: DHCPREQUEST on lan to 147.210.8.114 port 67
dhclient: DHCPACK from 147.210.8.114
dhcdbd: dhco_parse_option_settings: no new option definition for
new_fqdn_encoded

new_fqdn_no_client_update

dhcdbd: dhco_parse_option_settings: no new option definition for new_fqdn_rcode2
dhcdbd: dhco_parse_option_settings: no new option definition for
new_fqdn_server_update
dhcdbd: dhco_parse_option_settings: no new option definition for
old_fqdn_encoded

dhcdbd: dhco_parse_option_settings: no new option definition for old_fqdn_rcode1
dhcdbd: dhco_parse_option_settings: no new option definition for old_fqdn_rcode2
dhcdbd: dhco_parse_option_settings: no new option definition for
old_fqdn_server_update
NetworkManager: <information>^IDHCP daemon state is now 3 (renew) for interface
lan
dhclient: bound to 147.210.128.231 -- renewal in 6992 seconds.
This is on a fresh Debian testing installed from scratch with the beta d-i for
etch.
I am using network-manager-gnome. I did not change anything in the DHCP client
config
files.
I get the same warnings on another machine with running testing. However, it
_might_
be related to the DHCP server since I don't remember having seen the same
messages
when connecting this machine to another network.
regards,
Brice Goglin
