I recently replaced my IDE DVD drive with a SATA one which meant the
device changed from /dev/hda to /dev/scd0. When I started gnome-cd it
complained that /dev/hda wasn't a valid device so I ipened the config
dialog to change it. It detected the new drive and put it in the
drop-down menu but it didn't change the setting even when I clicked on
the menu. I had to use gconf-editor instead.
