If I remove the g++ .deb there, it argues the same way with the gawk
.deb. If I remove that, too, it argues about libaudio, ... So it
doesn't seem to depend on the package.
Not sure if this is really a debsums bug or a dpkg bug since dpkg
1.15.1 changed the propagating of "--" from dpkg to dpkg-deb as
argument. See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=293163
for details. Feel free to reassign the bug if you think it's a dpkg
bug.
