inn2 runs and after a few hours stops accepting nntp connections at 119 (well,
it opens the connection, but drops it right away) with such an error:

It's probably a problem linked somehow to libdb.

Either you need to tune the berkeleydb parameters or it's #510270.
Any way this is not an INN bug.
A quick web search will show you similar errors in other applications
needing tuning.
