Hi,

In source code, words are often delimited by non-alphanumerical characters
like braces. If git diff would recognize those delimiters as well, the output
of --color-words would highlight the real changes even better.

TIA,
Sebastian

This has been implemented in Git 1.6.2:

* The definition of what constitutes a word for "git diff --color-words"
can be customized via gitattributes, command line or a configuration

Cheers,
