Package: ngspice
Version: 19-1
Severity: important

Attempting to upgrade from ngspice 17.0.0-1 to ngspice 19-1 gives me
the following error:

,----
| (Reading database ... 205094 files and directories currently installed.)
| Preparing to replace ngspice 17.0.0-1 (using
.../archives/ngspice_19-1_i386.deb) ...

| dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)

Selecting xspice for removal doesn't help.

(The following information reflects ngspice 17.0.0-1, since I can't
get it to upgrade.)

Hi
This isn't a bug. Ngspice version 17 wasn't in Debian. The solution for
you is to remove both xspice and ngspice before installing the Debian
package. The xspice part is now integrated into the ngspice package.

Cheers
Gudjon
