Subject: courier-imap: IMAP server drops connections if IPv6 stack existed when
it was started
X-Mailer: reportbug 1.50
Date: Fri, 27 Dec 2002 19:32:20 +0000
Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.6 required=5.0

Package: courier-imap
Version: N/A; reported 2002-12-27
Severity: important

If the machine has an IPv6 stack when courier-imap is started, it drops
connections made to it instantly - even if those connections are made
over IPv4.

repton scott# telnet repton telnet
Trying 2002:3e31:8128:0:2a0:c9ff:fea0:cfbd...
Trying 62.49.129.34...
Connected to repton.ip6.netsplit.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.
zsh: exit 1 telnet repton imap

However if you don't have the ipv6 module loaded when you start
courier-imap, and instead start it later, everything's fine.
