Severity: important
A few modules, including libmodule-build-perl, depend on
libarchive-tar-perl. With Perl 5.10, Archive::Tar has moved into
perl-modules. Please add the appropriate Provides/Replaces/Conflicts
entries.
Note that there's also an overlapping file with the perl package:
dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/libarchive-tar-perl_1.38-1_all.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/usr/bin/ptardiff', which is also in package perl
I'm not sure if this complicates things.

the bugs that were still opened against it.
