Package: cups
Version: 1.3.10-2
Severity: important
Hello, some time ago (I guess with the last cups update) my Epson Stylus D92
turned unusable because of this strange error. I've not been able to find the
reason for this bug and /var/log/cups/error_log is empty, too. If you need
further information, please tell me where I should find them, because I'm not
very fond of CUPS. Thanks a lot for your help! Martin

In the package maintainer's experience, not all printers require
ghostscript-cups, which is why the package is only recommended.

It is not required for every printer and already pulled in by
Recommends, which means that it will be pulled in by default, since
both apt-get and aptitude pull Recommends by default. Thus, this bug
is a non-bug. Closing.
