Package: gt5
Version: 1.4.0-1
Severity: minor
The current manpage says
w3m: unfavourable handling of <a name>-tag, unfavourable cursor
navigation and no colors
But, I didn't have any problems using w3m with gt5
(by setting GT5_BROWSER=w3m).
w3m does display colors.
I don't know what "unfavourable handling of <a name>-tag" means.
All I can say is that I haven't seen any problems. (But that
might mean I'm missing something.)
I don't know exactly what "unfavourable cursor navigation" means,
either. Instead of "unfavourable", I would say that w3m uses
an emacs-like key assignment, if it's what the "unfavourable" bit
means.
I first tried ncdu. I abandoned it because it forced me to use
the arrow keys to navigate. Next, I tried gt5 with its default
browser. Again, I had to use arrow keys. I'm now happy with
gt5 on w3m . The emacs key assignment is ubiquitous and with
it, you don't have to move your hands away from the home position
of the keyboard.
Regards,
Ryo
