Package: squid3
Version: 3.0.STABLE8-3+lenny1

My squid is crashing regularly with an assertion failure. I believe it's only been doing it since the upgrade to 3.0.STABLE8-3+lenny1, but it doesn't keep logs long enough for me to be 100% certain of that. So I suspect the security fix in that version is broken.

It happens several times a day. This Squid is not heavily loaded - only two users.

An example of the log output when it crashes is:

2009/08/02 23:10:08| ctx: enter level 0: 'http://l-stat.livejournal.com/ad_base.css'
2009/08/02 23:10:08| HttpMsg.cc(157) first line of HTTP message is invalid
2009/08/02 23:10:08| assertion failed: http.cc:726: "!eof"
