Errors occur during postinst of the roundup package which cause installation
to fail, whether during upgrade or fresh install.
This may be a kind of duplicate of #542585 but I wanted to make the points
that (a) it still affects 1.4.9-2, and (b) it affects fresh installations,
not just upgrades (so for clarity I think if they are the same bug, #542585
should be marked a duplicate of this one rather than the other way around,
or the title of the former bug changed.)
I originally got the errors from an upgrade; I then purged the package and
installed it again, and exactly the same errors occur:
