Hi,
I test a fresh installation of version 5.0.2-0-2.
I commented the db_name and port parameters as reported in bug report 542391
and 542406.
With the pidfile parameter in the file "openerp-server.conf" the server will
not start.
But the problem is that there are two different PID files:
- In the script "/etc/init.d/openerp-server" is the file
"/var/run/openerp-server.pid" which is owned by root.
- In the configuration file "/etc/openerp-server.conf" is the file
"/var/run/openerp.pid" which is owned by user "openerp".
In addition there are two different PID files, the user "openerp" does not have
permission to write to the directory "/var/run".
