Package: mpd
Version: 0.12.1-1
Severity: normal

Since the most recent upgrade I have been having problems with MPD
locking up when I attempt to pause a song and then resume it.

I am using gmpc as the client. When I click the play/pause button the
music is indeed paused. When I click the play/pause button a second
time to resume playback gmpc complains that it has lost its connection
to mpd and refuses to reconnect. If I execute mpc status at this point
it does not immediately return with the status as it would normally (I
wasn't patient enough to see if it times out). If I look for mpd
procesees I get something like this:

mpd 19314 1 0 13:48 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/mpd /etc/mpd.conf
mpd 19315 19314 0 13:48 ? 00:00:01 /usr/bin/mpd /etc/mpd.conf
mpd 19316 19315 0 13:48 ? 00:00:01 /usr/bin/mpd /etc/mpd.conf

If I kill the first child process, i.e. 19315 in the above list playback
continues with the next song in the playlist.
