Package: nessus
Version: 2.1.0-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
nessus --batch-mode requires the password needed for access to the
nessus server to be given on the command line. This is bad since the
password shows then up in ps output, and probably in the shell history.
Please consider adding an option to have the password read from a
file, which might be made readable by the local user in question only.
This would be a big security increase.
Greetings
Marc
